New
outlook to the Primary
|
The quadrangle area of the primary was cause
for more discomfort to the children due to
the excessive dust. With the money collected
at the Primary Concert in 2006 and with
college funds a new brick floor was laid for
the primary quadrangle. |
A new and a more spacious canteen was built for the
benefit of the children.
A mini gymnasium is open for the use of the students
and old boys.
A computer room with 31 computers with network was
opened in June, 2005, which was an outright grant
from Metropolitan Academy, Canada. Mrs. Shannon Volman
was the Project coordinator of this project. A record
of thanks to the OBU in Canada, especially Mr. Mohan
Fernando and Ernest Fernando, and Mr. Chandra Fernando
for their support as well. Presently there are computer
courses in the evening for others, conducted at the
computer laboratory.
